How do I get started as a creator?
Create a free account and go to Dashboard > Publish to upload your first skill or agent. You can also publish via the CLI with npx @agentpowers/cli publish (or the legacy pip install agentpowers and ap publish). When you're ready to earn, connect your Stripe account from the dashboard settings.
What can I publish on AgentPowers?
You can publish skills (focused, single-task tools) or agents (autonomous, multi-step workflows). Skills are markdown-based instructions that live in .claude/skills/, and agents go in .claude/agents/. They work with any MCP-compatible platform - Claude, Cursor, Windsurf, and more.
How much does it cost to publish?
Nothing. Publishing is completely free. There are no listing fees, no monthly charges, and no upfront costs. We only earn when you earn - 15% commission on paid sales. We absorb all Stripe processing fees so creators keep a clean 85%. Minimum listing price is $5.
How do payouts work?
Earnings are paid out daily via Stripe Connect, subject to your seller tier (new sellers: 14-day delay, established: 7-day delay, trusted: 2-day delay). Connect your Stripe account once in your dashboard settings, and payouts go directly to your bank account. You keep exactly 85% of every sale. We handle all payment processing fees - no hidden deductions.
What security scanning happens when I publish?
Every skill goes through an automated 8-layer security pipeline: file type validation, pattern scanning, ClamAV malware detection, dependency scanning, supply chain analysis, VirusTotal scanning, AI-powered security review, and agent-specific checks. Can I publish free skills?
Yes. You can publish skills at no cost to buyers. Free skills are a great way to build your audience, grow your download count, and establish credibility before launching paid products.
What platforms are supported?
Skills work with any tool that supports the Model Context Protocol (MCP) - including Claude Code, Claude Cowork, Cursor, Windsurf, and others. We're continuously expanding platform support.
How do I update a published skill?
Run npx @agentpowers/cli publish again from your project directory, or upload a new version from the Publish page. Versioning is handled automatically. Existing buyers get the update with no action needed from them.
